- Gyalwang Drukpa
The official site of Gyalwang Drukpa - the head of Drukpa Lineage of the Tibetan Buddhism, regarded as the spiritual leader of Ladakh.
- Ladakh Ecological Development Group (LEDeG)
The goal of LEDeG is to promote ecological and sustainable development of Ladakh, which harmonizes with and builds on the traditional culture. The organization operates since 1983.

- Ladakh Projects of Tibet Heritage Fund
THF is an NGO focusing on protecting heritage, particularly the traditional architecture, of Tibetan culture. It works on a few projects in Ladakh, including conservation of Old Town in Leh.
- Live to Love
An international network of non-profit organization aiming to create lasting solutions to the modern problems of the world. Live to Love has been founded by Gyalwang Drukpa, the spiritual leader of Ladakh.
- Snow Leopard Conservancy
Information on actions regarding the conservation of Snow Leopard.
- Snow Leopard Conservancy India Trust
An organization working in Ladakh for the case of protection of snow leopards in their natural environment.
- Students' Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL)
Founded in 1988 the organization concentrates on education as well as solar energy. SECMOL welcomes volunteers!
- Surya Civic Association - the Sun School for Kargyak, Zanskar
The Czech organization that has built, supports and helps to manage and maintain the school in Kargyak village in Zanskar. Visit it to learn about the project, support it or volunteer in Kargyak!

A non-profit organization based in Switzerland involved in research and conservation of temples in Wanla and Kanji villages of Ladakh.
- The International Association for Ladakh Studies (IALS)
An international organization for the research on Ladakh. You will find information on their publications, some publications on-line and many interesting links.
- The Ladakh Project of ISEC.org.uk
The International Society for Ecology and Culture has been working in the region since 1975 exploring sustainable patterns of development, providing Ladakhis with information about the impact of conventional development and helping to establish several organizations in Ladakh.
